2025 Annual Meeting
The annual IGR Alumni meeting took place a few days ago! To celebrate the 70th anniversary of our school, we're back where it all began: in an amphitheatre at IGR-IAE Rennes. Around fifty alumni gathered, from the youngest still studying for their Masters, to the original members who founded the network over 30 years ago!
The evening was an opportunity for us to highlight the year's activities, which brought together over 300 graduates:
- Afterworks and company visits in our regions
- Theme evenings, including Christmas and Galette des rois celebrations
- Business Lunches, our new networking event of the year
- Collaborations with student associations, such as the Parcours d'Alumni conference with IGR Agora
- Joint actions with other IAEs, notably the After-CDF in Paris
Our presentation was punctuated by speeches from Hélène RAINELLI WEISS (Managing Director of IGR-IAE Rennes), Dany VYT (Managing Director of the IGR-IAE Rennes Foundation), Maxence GALY and Grégoire BIRAUD (Co-Presidents of the IAE France Partner Federation).
We'd like to thank them for their commitment!
A new board has been elected! Aurélie EGAULT, Co-Chairman, and Baptiste BAHU, Vice-Chairman for the past 2 years, are stepping down in favor of Morgane le Pabic, who is extending her Presidency for a further 2 years, with Lisa CHIAPPINI taking over as Vice-Chairman.
and Jean-François BERTRAND.
Emma LE BAUT, Secretary, and Xavier ROUZIER, Treasurer, remain involved in the Board.
The evening continued with a conference on "Commitment", with the aim of highlighting the diversity of our alumni, their values of sharing and openness to the world, instilled at the IGR: beyond our technical training, we have been encouraged to show initiative and take responsibility, notably through community involvement. We therefore wanted to look beyond the careers of our alumni, and discover the people they are and the commitments they make. Our 7 speakers showed us with their heart the importance of giving a little of their time to help others, to help themselves grow.
Many thanks to Florian GAUDIN, Margaux Tessier, Nicolas Tourneur, Marilyne Parisot, Hugo QUILES, Anne-Sophie VIMONT, Julie LAIGLE-ALLIX.
A cocktail party on the patio brought the evening to a close, with the IGR spirit at the heart of the discussions! It was hosted by alumni Ronan Dagorn of Laiterie Gilbert, for the savory platters, and Soif for the non-alcoholic cocktail workshop.
We'd like to thank all the people who help keep our network alive in Rennes and throughout the region!
See you soon on our next events, check our agenda!
